Pacquiao, returning to fight in the United States for the first time in two years and for the first time since his recent signing with adviser Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions, will defend his secondary welterweight world title against former four-division titlist Broner on Jan. 19 in the main event of a Showtime PPV card (9 p.m. ET) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao’s motivation for the fight is to remind fans and critics alike he’s still nasty in the ring.
Speaking at a press conference in New York, Pacquiao said: “I want to entertain people and give a good show on 19 January … I want to fight the greatest fighters and greatest opponents in the world and one of them is Adrien Broner.” (The Guardian)
Toronto is still feeling away about the 6 God catching scathing bars. Some men attempted to jump Pusha T as he performed in Drake’s hometown, but the G.O.O.D. Music rapper escaped untouched while the aggressors caught the fade.
From what we can tell, Pusha T was performing when a bunch of water or beer started getting hurled his way. You will then notice security preparing for that smoke.
Then we get to footage of two or three (maybe more) guys who reportedly attempted to rush the stage to put hands on Push. However, whoever these dudes are, they are seen catching the hands and feet before escaping security’s clutches and fleeing back into the crowd.
According to reports on social media, three men rushed the stage and tackled Pusha-T during his set at Danforth Music Hall. Pusha-T eventually returned to the stage to perform a few more songs, but security ultimately pulled the rapper off the stage and ended the concert early. Police and paramedics responded to the scene and three people were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. (Consequence of Sound)
Assault: Danforth Ave / Broadview Ave – numerous ppl injured from a fight inside a concert hall in the area – performers attacked by a group of ppl -EMS/Police on scene -closures: Broadview/Danforth to Playter Blvd#GO2140689 ^ka
Despite the perception, some reports claim Pusha did not get harmed after drinks and paint were thrown onto the stage during his set.
Soon after, one attacker made his way onto the stage where security and members of Pusha T’s entourage quickly handled the perpetrator. The Clipse lyricist would return to the stage soon after to perform a few more songs before local police shut down the concert due to the attack and a few concert goes sustaining injuries. Pusha T was unharmed during the incident as seen in various fan captured videos posted quickly online. (Miss Info)

“The information came from 40. It didn’t come from Kanye. At all. 40 is sleeping with a woman. He talks to her daily, five, six hours a day, provides opportunity for her. Ultimately speaks on how he’s disgruntled about certain things. Notoriety and things involving Drake and his career and so forth. With that also came the fact that Drake has a child. With that also came the trip that everybody took to go see the child and bring him gifts. All of this information.” (The Joe Budden Podcast)
6ix9ine’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, tells us … Tekashi has been placed in gen pop at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center as opposed to being held in a segregated part of the federal pen … due to his celeb status. That’s interesting because the MDC is notoriously brutal, with inmates that are “extremely dangerous, violent, or escape-prone,” according to the U.S. Justice Department. (TMZ)
Tek and his crew have a slew of federal charges pinned to them.
3:30 PM PT — According to the 17-page indictment, obtained by TMZ, Tekashi is facing 6 counts … the most serious of which is discharging a firearm while committing a crime. That count carries a possible life sentence, and a mandatory minimum of 25 years in prison. His ex-manager, Shottie, is facing the same 6 counts. Prosecutors say the acts of violence were intended to protect the gang’s drug biz, retaliate against rival gangs or promote Nine Trey’s rep on the streets. (TMZ)
2:55 PM PT — Tekashi and his crew conspired to commit a slew of crimes, including drug deals, armed robberies and shootings … according to the federal indictment. The feds believe Tekashi himself pulled an armed robbery on April 3 along with his ex-manager, Shottie, and 2 other members of the Nine Trey Bloods. According to the docs, they robbed gang rivals at gunpoint. The indictment also mentions the April 21 shooting incident at Barclays Center in Brooklyn … and fingers Fuguan Lovick as the trigger man. More than a hundred people came to Diddy’s Bel-Air home Sunday to remember Kim. The house was filled with photos of Porter and the family. A candlelit walkway lined the entrance as guests arrived. French Montana, Mary J. Blige and Pharrell were among the guests. The official cause of death will take 4 to 6 weeks, when toxicology reports are in. (TMZ)
A few nights ago, Puffy shared rare Kim Porter moments and broke his silence on the tragic death.
