New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine can breathe a sigh of relief. Reports claim the hip-hop artist’s bodyguard suffered a gunshot wound during a celebration event but is now in stable condition.

According to reports, the chaos went down Friday (October 27) following a restaurant meeting in midtown New York City.

Here’s what we’re told — Tekashi was meeting a 10k Projects Records exec at the party. A bodyguard for the exec turned away 6ix9ine’s entourage, saying the only person who could come into the restaurant was Tekashi himself. Tekashi’s security said hell no, and an argument erupted. During the argument, a third party walked up and fired 4 shots, hitting Tekashi’s bodyguard in the stomach. The bodyguard was taken to the hospital. (TMZ)

Yesterday, Tek avoided going to prison in a 2015 sexual misconduct case and instead received probation.

Today in a Manhattan courthouse, Judge Felicia A. Mennin sentenced Tekashi 6ix9ine, the Brooklyn rapper born Daniel Hernandez, to four years of probation (with credit for one year previously served) for charges stemming from his 2015 arrest for the use of a child in a sexual performance. He is not required to register as a sex offender. (Pitchfork)

6ix9ine also has some major restrictions with his probation including who he is allowed to associate with.

6ix9ine is also required to complete 1,000 hours of community service and must refrain from gang affiliation and the posting or reposting online sexually explicit or violent images of women or children. (Pitchfork)

Back in August, Tek addressed his publicized case and explained the motivation behind accepting a plea deal.

“I know I troll a lot but for the people who care and the people that are making it their priority to care about my personal life, I want you to take a second and look at my case. Right? Three and a half years ago, I’m not this famous rapper that has $10,000 to pay for a private lawyer. I had to settle for a public defender. A court ordered lawyer. At this time, I’m scared. They’re saying you’re going to get 15 years and I’m like, ‘No. I’ve got a daughter on the way.’ It’s 2015. I’m 18 years old. I’m like, ‘No.’ Give me anything but jail time. If you look into the case, this is just another story of a minority, a youth being under the court system built for me to fail. For the people saying, ‘Tekashi, you’re not taking this serious.’ I am. Trust me. I am. I’m just not going to let that affect me.”

Fans barely recognized her when she and her dancers hit the stage to Malone’s “rockstar.” She also performed her own singles “Your Song” and “Let Me Love You” while in costume. “What the fuck is good HALLOWEEN 2018 @postmalone i LOVE you bro,” she added. “Surprised Wembley as you tonight at my show my fans didn’t even recognise me LOL.”

The costume was met with rave reviews on social media and from her peers including Katy Perry, who wrote, “YOU WIN 2018 BB…I AM OBSESSED WITH YOU.”

Ora is gearing up to release her sophomore album Phoenix on Nov. 23 featuring the single “Girls” with Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, and Charli XCX, plus appearances from Liam Payne, Rudimental, Julia Michaels, and the late Avicii.

Diddy Dedicates ‘Lady in My Life’ to Cassie After Split

Cassie will always be the lady in Diddy’s life.

Following their breakup, the Bad Boy mogul has delivered a public dedication to his ex-girlfriend.

Taking to Instagram on Friday (Oct. 26), Diddy posted a screenshot of Michael Jackson’s “The Lady in My Life,” letting Cassie know that he will always have love for her. “If anyone sees @cassie this weekend please tell her to listen to this song 100 times! ❤ LOVE,” wrote Puff.

It’s unclear if Diddy is hoping to rekindle his romance with the “Me & U” singer. The Thriller song includes lyrics about wanting to stay together: “Even when we’re old and gray / I will love you more each day / ‘Cause you will always be the lady in my life.”

Earlier this month, a rep for Cassie confirmed that she and Diddy were “no longer together and haven’t been for months.” Diddy was spotted at Drake’s L.A. concert with 26-year-old Canadian model Jocelyn Chew in the wake of their breakup.

Just days after their split made headlines, Cassie posted a cryptic message on social media and unfollowed her ex. “F**k these hoes,” wrote the newly-single Cassie on her Instagram Story.

According to PEOPLE, the couple’s breakup was “amicable and they remain friends.” Meanwhile, a source tells Us Weekly that Diddy is still “very much in love with Cassie.”

Tekashi69 dodged a legal bullet and literal bullets Friday, just as it appears he was on his way to keeping his nose out of trouble. While at a celebration with his new manager after getting sentenced for four years probation at a New York restaurant, gunfire rang out and two men were later arrested.

New York Daily News reports:

Zachary Bunce, 33, of Wyandanch, N.Y. and Faheem Walter, 29, of Manhattan were both charged with gang assault for the fight that ended with guns being flashed and bullets flying at Philippe’s, a high-end restaurant on Madison Ave. and E. 59th St.

Members of the rapper’s entourage were celebrating how Tekashi managed to avoid jail time for a sex abuse case and were trying to push their way into the party — but the new manager objected to their presence, and his privately-hired security turned them away, said law enforcement sources.

After Tekashi left, the spurned crew of four or five men returned to the ritzy restaurant with a beef.

One of the brutes hit one of the manager’s security guards over the head with a chair and flashed a gun.

The wounded guard, a retired cop, pulled his licensed pistol and fired once, hitting Walter in the stomach, cops said.

The outlet adds that Walter attempted to flee the scene in a cab but was later caught by the cops. So far, Tekashi69 has yet to address the matter publicly.

G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha-T is picking favorites. The hip-hop veteran has called his Daytona solo album the best project in his collection.

In a new interview, King Push put his Daytona album above his past releases.

“I feel damn good,” he says when asked about Grammy prospects. “DAYTONA is the rap album of the year. Best produced album and best lyrically rapped album. I don’t think it’s even a contest in those two areas, so I don’t see why I shouldn’t win it.” (Some 2018 albums he’s feeling besides his own, though: Victory Lap, Redemption, and Drip Harder). Six months removed from its official release, he’s even ready to place it number one in his discography. “Yeah, I like it better than My Name. Of [my] three albums, I would say Daytona is the best.” (Complex)

Pusha also promised fans could expect Kanye West‘s signature touch on his Daytona follow-up.

When it comes to who is providing the beats on the next go-round, as of now at least, it’s once again all Kanye-produced. “I’m going to see how he wants to finish this up. If not, I always got a heavy hitter list in my back pocket.” As for the songs he made with heavy-hitters like The Neptunes and The-Dream before Kanye re-made Daytona (plus Daytona tracks that didn’t make the cut last-minute like “Sociopath”), Push says he’s not one to shoehorn a fire straggler into an album if it doesn’t fit—he’s open to letting a few loosies go for the fans. Tamron Hall was one of the brightest stars on the NBC News network, gaining respect in the media industry as one of the top journalists around. Since leaving the network, Hall will host her own show on ABC soon and it appeared that she might have been reveling in the firing of Blackface-loving former NBC News host, Megyn Kelly.

Page Six reports:

Tamron Hall presented Soledad O’Brien with the Community Champion Award at Harlem United, and O’Brien did not hold back.

“Tamron, you have a new talk show coming. Congrats for that,” O’Brien said. “But didn’t you used to do a show . . . The ‘Today’ show, right? And how were those ratings?” (Hall’s ratings were higher than Kelly’s in the same timeslot.)

O’Brien added, “And your feelings on blackface? Yes or no?” The audience erupted in applause and laughter while Hall appeared embarrassed, chuckling from the side of the stage. “Page Six TV” co-host Bevy Smith hosted the event.

Meanwhile, Hall reunited with her former “Today’s Take” co-host Al Roker at his “Waitress” performance after news broke that Kelly was exiting NBC.

The outlet was careful to add that Hall just happened to attend Roker’s Broadway show coincidentally on the day Kelly was let go. Still, how’s that for timing?

Of all the things to emerge since the arrest of the so-called “MAGABomber” Cesar Sayoc, the fact that he was once an exotic male dancer might top them all. According to TMZ, Sayoc threatened to kill other dancers and allegedly plotted to poison them with HIV-infected blood.

TMZ reports:

We’re told Cesar’s time as a stripper was tumultuous … on several occasions, he threatened other dancers and was constantly jealous of colleagues who were making more money than him or diminishing his presence on stage.

According to dancers who worked with him … Cesar once threatened to stab another dancer with a syringe loaded with HIV-infected blood.

We’re told Cesar once got so jealous of a rival dancer, he taped tuna can lids to the bottom of his boots and threatened to stomp the dancer’s face and cut him up. When people laughed at him, he became enraged and said, “Just wait. I’m going to take this guy out.”

It’s interesting … Cesar traveled the country in a van during his stripping days, and Friday he was busted in a van covered with stickers threatening Hillary Clinton and CNN personalities. He also made multiple violent threats against TMZ on social media.

Yeah. This is wild.

TMZ also obtained video of Sayoc messing around with wires to make stripper costumes light up, so it appears he’s been down to blow stuff up for quite some time. Check out the clip below.

New York rapper 50 Cent isn’t giving his rap enemy a break. The hip-hop star has continued to blast away at Ja Rule.

Curtis Jackson went to Instagram Saturday (October 27) with a meme of himself at an empty Rule concert.

Over the last 48 hours, 50 Cent has continued to blast away at Ja.

On Thursday, Rule’s former labelmate Ashanti responded to 50 trolling her over a nixed concert.

“Officer Curtis better cut it out. [laughs] I mean it’s obvious [the show was canceled because] it was a lack of promotion. The school put out a statement to clarify it was a lack of promotion and, you know, they shouldn’t have never did it. So, you know, no hard feelings. Thank-you so much – Curtis is definitely a bully.” (TMZ)

Last weekend, 50 Cent ripped Ashanti for having a show cancelled over ticket sales.
