Next week, TV network BET is airing a one-hour “Martin: The Legacy of a King” documentary based on MLK’s life.
BET News announces the premiere of a new original documentary, “Martin: The Legacy of a King” airing Monday, January 21, at 9 PM ET/PT on BET. Directed and produced by NAACP Image Award-winning duo, Coodie & Chike (“Ali: The People’s Champ”), this 1-hour film offers a powerful look into Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life as a leader and champion of the Civil Rights Movement at the height of its existence, and the impact of his legacy since his untimely death. The one-hour documentary will feature a slew of high-profile entertainers ranging from Vic Mensa and LeCrae to Reverend Al Sharpton.
“Martin: The Legacy of a King” is narrated by Grammy Award winning poet, J. Ivy, and features testimony from Rev. Al Sharpton, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev.
