Meek Mill Drops ‘Oodles O’Noodles Babies’ & ‘Uptown Vibes’

Meek Mill is giving his fans new music this Thanksgiving.

As he gears up for his new album Championships next week, the Philly rapper has dropped two new tracks. On the autobiographical “Oodles O’Noodles Babies,” Meek raps about the hardships he’s endured, starting with his childhood.

“Ain’t had nobody to give me no hope / I hope my momma ain’t doing no coke,” he raps. “I used to wish that my daddy was living / I had a dream that I see him a ghost.”

The criminal justice activist also addresses his court case (“Got a black judge trying to tear me down”), his cousin’s murder (“On the pavement with his brains out”), and Kanye West (“Want to ask Ye, is this a choice? / It was like this when I came out / What the fuck is you really complaining about?”).

Meek performed “Oodles O’Noodles Babies” for the first time on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last night.

He switches things up on “Uptown Vibes” featuring Fabolous and Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA. “Realest ni**a round / Just in case y’all forgot / They been tryna stop the wave, but the wave don’t stop,” raps Meek over the Latin-infused track, while Anuel spits a verse in Spanish.

Meek’s album Championships drops Nov. 30 featuring a collaboration with Cardi B. He is also set to appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Nov. 28.
