Philadelphia Hip-Hop legend Freeway shared on Instagram last night a video from the hospital as he was going under the knife to receive his kidney transplant. The surgery for the kidney transplant was successful.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce Freeway’s surgery was a success. he is now in recovery. Thank you all for your prayers!!!,” Freeway’s management shared in a statement to The SOURCE.

Freeway was diagnosed with kidney failures years ago and has kept his fans up to date with the status of his procedure and journey in receiving the transplant. You can view the surgeon, Dr. Desai, who performed the surgery on Freeway below.
