Lauren London is remembering Nipsey Hussle this Father’s Day.

On her first Father’s Day since his passing, the actress is honoring her late boyfriend and the father of her son with a sweet dedication on social media.

Taking to Instagram, London shared a photo of her and Nipsey with their son Kross. “One of the reasons I fell in Love with You…. Your Fatherhood,” she wrote. “Today we celebrate You Love you Ermias ”

She added another heartfelt message on Instagram Stories: “Happy Father’s Day to The Great. Sent a lot of prayers to Heaven last night.”

It’s been two-and-a-half months since Nipsey was shot and killed outside of his Marathon Clothing store in L.A. London and Hussle began dating in 2013 after meeting on social media. They have a two-and-a-half-year-old son named Kross together. Nipsey also has a daughter, Emani, from a previous relationship.

Following his death in March, the 34-year-old actress opened up about losing her best friend and devoted dad. “I am completely lost,” wrote a heartbroken London. “I’ve lost my best friend.”

But his legacy lives on. Nipsey will be honored with the Humanitarian Award at the 2019 BET Awards on June 23. DJ Khaled, YG, and John Legend will also perform a tribute to the beloved MC, who is nominated for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist.
