Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West knows a thing or two about publicity. The hip-hop star has responded to JAY-Z killing speculation about his new “What’s Free” lyrics having ill intentions toward him.
Yeezy went to Twitter Friday (November 30) to acknowledge Jigga’s remarks and plug the possibility of a Watch the Throne sequel.

Earlier in the day, Jigga hit up Twitter to clarify his lyrics and stopped the feud speculation.
The line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat) now go pick up Meek album . Drake and Meek on there together .

On the record, Jigga makes direct references to Ye’s pro-President Donald Trump support.
No red hat, don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye/They separate you when you got Michael and Prince’s DNA, uh/I ain’t one of these house n*ggas you bought/My house like a resort, my house bigger than yours/My spou- (C’mon man) (“What’s Free”)

JAY heavily went in on Donald Trump and distanced himself from Ye’s proud Make America Great Again stance.
Jay also rejects any comparisons made between him and Kanye West. In the midst of the various controversies Kanye has said and done in 2018, one of the most memorable moments is when he tweeted himself wearing a MAGA hat while later on appearing on Saturday Night Live clarifying his viewpoint on why he embraces wearing the hat: “They said, ‘Don’t go out there with that hat on.’ They bullied me backstage. They bullied me! And then they say I’m in a sunken place. You want to see the sunken place? Okay, I’m going to listen to y’all now, or I’m going to put my Superman cape on. This means you can’t tell me what to do.” (Genius)
