Joyner Lucas and Logic Team Up on ‘ISIS’

Joyner Lucas and Logic squash their beef and join forces on “ISIS.”

In the militaristic video, the rappers hit the front lines as soldiers leading an army of men. Lucas shouts out the “kids like me who got ADHD” before putting a gun to the head of an ISIS member, who turns out to be Logic.

“Push me, I’m Louis Vuitton / You at Target with your mom / On the internet, still hating on my last post / I just had a steak back at Mastro’s, my God!” raps Bobby Tarantino. “One time for the Grammy that I never got / Two times for the Garden that I sold out / Three times for the street crimes that I committed.”

With weapons drawn, the two continue to unleash brash rhymes. “Me and Joyner need a couple hearses / Double homicide, kill the beat and the verses,” adds Logic.

Prior to collaborating, the two had a rocky relationship. During a 2017 interview with “Everyday Struggle,” Lucas called out Logic for his race-related rhymes. “I think he can rap. But I feel like he tries to prove that he’s black too much for me,” he said. Logic alluded to the beef on Thursday, posting the “ISIS” video and writing, “What’s beef?”

“ISIS” follows Joyner’s viral video for “Devil’s Work,” where he asks God to bring back Tupac Shakur, Nipsey Hussle, and Michael Jackson in exchange for Suge Knight, R. Kelly, and Tomi Lahren, who lashed out at Lucas for her depiction.

Lucas is now gearing up to release his ADHD project and can be heard on Chris Brown’s upcoming album Indigo.
