JAY-Z’s ‘Made in America’ Aims to Celebrate 10 Years with New Iconic Moments

With 2021 bringing festivals back at full force, Made in America 2021 will bring one of the most impressive lineups available. Last week, The Made in America Festival lineup just got bigger. The festival, which is headlined by Lil Baby and Justin Bieber, just expanded its roster by adding Young Thug.

In addition, the fest that is scheduled for September 4 and 5 in Philadelphia boasts a lineup of Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Moneybagg Yo, Latto, Griselda, Kehlani, and many more.

Since the start of the JAY-Z-curated festival, historic moments have been made on the stage that and this year aims to bring forth more culture-shifting moments.

“We are so excited to come back to Philadelphia for the 10th year,” Jana Fleishman, EVP Strategy and Communications for Roc Nation. “The combined energy of the Philly community and the fans is unmatched. Made In America was founded in greatness and giving back and we are proud to continue the legacy with this year’s dynamic lineup and inspiring number of organizations for our Cause Village.”

JAY-Z Takes the Stage in MIA’s Inaugural Year
JAY-Z brought out all the stops for his Made in America Festival. Serving as the headliner, Hov brought in Memphis Bleek, Young Gunz, Kanye West, Pusha T, and Big Sean. The duo of Hov and Ye, then known as The Throne, would perform “Niggas in Paris,” leading to champagne sipping and fireworks exploding.

Meek Mill’s Homecoming Performance
Fresh off the #FreeMeek campaign and a release for unjust imprisonment, Meek Mill’s returned to his hometown of Philadelphia. After opening with “House Party,” meek ran through his catalog of hits and poured his soul out with his “Dreams and Nightmares” performance.

Queen Bey Owns Made in America Stage
In 2015, Beyonce, the best performer on the planet took the Made in America Stage. In her headlining slot, Beyonce was serenaded for her birthday before breaking out into a setlist of hits from her self-titled album and classics from earlier in her catalog.

Rihanna Floats All Over Made in America
With her historic Anti album dropping at the top of the year, Rihanna’s Made in America performance was stellar. Rihanna took the performance to new heights, literally, by bringing the festival’s first floating stage.

Lizzo and DaBaby Set Made in America on Fire
In 2019, Lizzo and DaBaby were the two hottest newcomers on the planet. Both on the bill for Made in America, the two performed amazing sets but also made a must see moment when Lizzo twerked down the Billion Dollar Baby leader.
