Benny The Butcher’s new global deal with Entertainment One (eOne) for his Black Soprano Family (BSF) imprint is already paying dividends.  The imprints first release, Benny The Butcher & DJ Drama Presents: Gangsta Grillz X BSF Da Respected Sopranos, debuted in the top 10 on all major DSP’s. The Black Soprano Family (BSF) consists of Rick Hyde, Heem, LoveBoat Luciano, Jonesy, FlexxBabyy, Young World & DJ Shay (RIP).

One of the new talents Benny brought into the BSF fold is Heem, who was predominantly featured on Da Respected Sopranos.  Thriving in his role as closer, Heem will put a bow on BSF’s 2020 with his new project Long Story Short.  The projects first single, “The Realest,” featuring Benny The Butcher is now available at all DSP’s.  From the same trenches, Long Story Short is bound to draw parallels to Benny and Green Lantern’s Butcher On Steroids (2017) mixtape.

Curated and championed by the late, great DJ Shay and Hosted by DJ Green Lantern, Long Story Short features appearances from Benny The Butcher, Rick Hyde & Boldy James, along with production from DJ Shay, Jansport J and DJ Green Lantern. The project is produced by DJ Shay & DJ Green Lantern and Executive Produced by Benny The Butcher.
