Former Notorious B.I.G. Collaborator Roasts Ma$e For Attacking Diddy: “You Were Offered A Deal + Signed It”

Ma$e

Rap veteran Little Shawn isn’t showing any support to Mason Betha. Instead, the hip-hop entertainer has stood up for music mogul Diddy after getting ripped by his former protégé Ma$e over artist relations.

Big Facts: This week, Shawn went to Instagram to go in-in on Ma$e for not taking any blame for signing on the dotted publishing deal line.

It always amazes me at how these people in the industry have soooo much to type on The Gram but, when they’re in the presence of those that they now choose to oppose, you can hear a mouse piss on cotton. After that Creflo Dollar, southern accented message of prosperity, I can’t go with nothing else you do or say. In my opinion Champ, you were offered a deal & you signed it at a time when you had no record sales to leverage more money. Lest we forget that after doing the hook for your “Friend” Camron on the Horse & Carriage song, you requested 40K to be in the video. Puff’s speech about the Grammy’s the other night was solely about them overlooking artists that were more than deserving of an award, that was ended up given to someone else. You can’t buy a soda from Target & get mad when you see that same soda in another store for cheaper. When I left MCA, Puff & BIG offered me a deal at Bad Boy. Puff and I spoke about the deal and he gave me the details of what I’d be signing. I looked at him a little crazy cause I figured, he and I are friends and I’d get a different deal. I thought about it & said Nah, I’m good. The next time Mase decides to step on stage to honor him with a performance or, take part in a Bad Boy reunion show where he’s standing next to the dude in song, Murder Mase should tell him to his face and stay off of the Gram with the Force MD tears🤷🏾‍♂️ #YouSignedAPublishingDealBruh #PastorMurderMa$e👎🏾 #BehindTheSmoke

For all of you that don’t completely understand the music business, allow me to sort of simplify most of what goes on. Normally, you’ll sign a record deal then, go elsewhere to do a publishing deal. What Puff did was create his own publishing company, offer his artists pub deals and keep it all in house. Puff actually signed off on paperwork to release Mase from his label obligation but, he was still signed to a publishing deal. What Mason Betha fails to inform the public of, is the fact after he renegotiated and was given a multimillion dollar check, he decided to become a Pastor but, he kept the money. The reason for him fleeing New York has many layers to it with the middle of the seven being a street figure from Harlem that was after him🤷🏾‍♂️. Nevertheless, he was able to afford a new life elsewhere so, he ran to Atlanta and fell under the spiritual arm of Creflo Dollar. Once he woke up and decided that he was done with the ministry, he came back and attempted a new deal with 50. Well at that point Puff was like, You ain’t with the Lord No More? Ima need that 2 mill back Bruh. Whether you agree with it or not, if an artist signs on the dotted line after having legal representation look it over, who’s at fault? If the whole story is told & your feelings are excluded, you will see why things are the way they are. Mase is actually 2 Million up & free to sign wherever. #BehindTheSmoke

High-Key Details: On Friday, Mason hit up his social media pages and didn’t hold back on spilling all sorts of tea on Puff Daddy.

Wait, There’s More: Last weekend, Diddy shared his issues with the Grammys not properly celebrating and acknowledging black music.

Wait, There’s More: A few nights ago, Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill went to Twitter to keep it 100 on the music biz having a heartless approach toward young black artists.
