Ella Mai Announces Her 2019 ‘The Debut Tour’

Ella Mai is coming to a city near you at the top of the year.

Ella Mai recently announced her European and US Tour, which starts on January 8 and ends on March 28. The “Boo’d Up” singer released her self-titled, full-length debut album on Oct. 12. The album was executive produced by 10 Summers, founder DJ Mustard. After the success of the album’s lead singles, “Boo’d Up” and “Trip,” the UK singer is ready to lead her first long-winded tour.

For the first month of the tour, the 23-year-old artist will stop in Europe from January 8 to the 24th. Her first three stops are in Birmingham, Manchester, and London, before ending the European leg of the tour in Norway.

She kicks off the North American leg in Vancouver and ends with four dates in Texas. Ella Mai joins the new creators of R&B music along with H.E.R. Daniel Caesar and more. In a recent interview with Billboard, the UK artist expressed her love for the genre she is helping to progress.

“I think a lot of people thought R&B is dead, which I don’t understand how anyone could think that,” she said. “In my opinion, it’s the best genre in the world. Music is personal preference, but R&B definitely tackles love the way it happens. There’s no beating around the bush with R&B.”

There is no word of any special guests just yet, but with DJ Mustard behind the scenes, you can expect some big-time surprises. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Oct 26. Be sure to grab your tickets here.
