Melania Trump Says #MeToo Accusers Need ‘Hard Evidence’

Melania Trump is airing her support for sexual assault victims, but also says they need proof of their claims.

In a rare sit-down interview with ABC New in Kenya, where she made a trip amid her outing to Africa this month, the First Lady tended to the current #MeToo development.

At the point when asked whether she believes the victims or support the movement she responded, “I support the women and they need to be heard. We need to support them and you know, also men—not just women.”

“Do you think men in the news that have been accused of sexual assault, sexual harassment have been treated unfairly?” correspondent Tom Llamas asked.

“We need to have a really hard evidence that if you’re accused of something—show the evidence,” Trump urged.

Llamas at that point called attention to that a few ladies probably won’t care for that answer and urge her to remain with ladies.

“I do stand with women,” she retorted. “But we need to show the evidence. You cannot just say to somebody I was sexually assaulted or you did that to me or…because sometimes the media goes too far and the way they portray some stories—it’s not correct. It’s not right.”

Her better half, President Donald Trump, has been openly blamed for sexual assault by a few ladies as of late, all of which he has more than once denied.

Amid the meeting, Trump likewise uncovered what she’s discovered the most astonishing about being first woman.

“It’s sad to see that organizations and foundations I want to parter with choose not to because of [the] administration,” she answered. “I feel they’re choosing the politics over helping others.”

She refused to name any specific organizations, adding, “I don’t want to put them out in front of the world, but they know who they are.”

In the wake of Brett Kavanaugh‘s Supreme Court nomination and the weird #HimToo response to the still-surging #MeToo movement, a mother took to Facebook to own the Libs in defense of her son’s dating habits. It hasn’t worked out too well for the mom or her military son online, and the slander she invited has been epic, to say the least.

From the Daily Mail:

In response to the uproar surrounding Judge Brett Kavanaugh confirmation to the Supreme Court, Marla Reynolds from Oklahoma shared an image on Twitter of her 32-year-old son Pieter Hanson posing in his Navy uniform.

She claimed that Pieter ‘won’t go on solo dates due to the current climate of false accusations’ against men — but upon seeing the young man’s cheeky, chin-on-fist pose, many Twitter users had other ideas about why Pieter doesn’t go out with the ladies, and quickly teased Marla for the post.

In the photo, Pieter, a Navy vet and University of Central Florida student, is dressed in his white Navy uniform, with one foot propped up on a bench. He’s smiling at the camera, resting his chin on his fist, with his elbow on his knee.

‘This is MY son,’ his mother wrote. ‘He graduated #1 in boot camp. He was awarded the USO award. He was #1 in A school. He is a gentleman who respects women.

‘He won’t go on solo dates due to the current climate of false sexual accusations by radical feminists with an axe to grind. I VOTE. #HimToo.’

As one can imagine, it has been slander city for Marla and Pieter, but it appears the son is even laughing and somewhat apologizing over his mom’s caping. Pieter Hanson, who says he’s the man from his mom’s Facebook post, did it in a most respectful way too as you can view below.

Check out some of the hilarious responses below.

Bill Cosby’s First Days In Prison Will Basically Be In Solitary Confinement

Bill Cosby is used to people being around him.

For most of his life, he has been a mega star. Because of the incomprehensible strides he made for Black people in entertainment during the 60’s and 70’s, he has meant a lot to folk. We loved him. We still love him (even as we deplore his actions). He was America’s dad. And Bill Cosby was not America’s dad because white people said he was, he earned that spot in our cultural hearts by representing an ideal of prosperity, accountability and family life that we have always wanted to be associated with this country. Great job. Great wife. Great education. Great kids. His TV life seemed to be a projection of his personal life. That is what he wanted us to see and that is want we saw.

However, over the last few years, we have been privy to see this dirty and ugly side of Dr. Cosby. Bill was not Cliff. Bill (we have come to know) is… still can’t seem to bring myself to say it… a predator. A sinister abuser that used his celebrity and access to drug and rape women. And it was just that that he was convicted for.

Earlier this week, Dr. Cosby was sentenced to three to five years in prison for drugging and molesting a woman. Almost 14 years after he gave Andrea Constand pills, the 81-year-old was found guilty by a jury of his peers last April for sexually violating the former Temple University employee, in his Philadelphia home in 2004. He was also convicted of three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

Immediately after being convicted, he was whisked off to the Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution Phoenix. He has a mug shot. He has a prison uniform and boots, and his inmate number NN7687. The fallen hero, who used to have words about the Hip-Hop community looking and acting like criminals, will have a hard time adjusting to the stripped down cageyness of prison. Most of all, he will struggle with the next couple of weeks of solitude.

Cosby has to complete the standard battery of psychological and medical exams for new inmates and sex offenders.  For up to at max 10 days, he will be engaged in a process called “classification.”  According to officials, Inmate Cosby’s celebrity and his various health challenges may extend this process longer than the average inmate. Until he is “classified,” he will not be able to have visitation from his family members, take classes or get a job or enjoy some of the other things that will make the life there bearable. As of right now, during this time, he has no roommate.

According to MSN, administrators decided out of caution to isolate him from general population for the time being. Inmate Cosby eats all his meals by himself (though they offered him some, he did not eat the jello that they had on the menu), spends his yard time by himself and even comes out the door of his cell for count, by himself. What a mighty fall for someone that has been in the limelight for over half a century!

His family is understandably upset. Not only are they dealing with their patriarch’s incarceration, no one knew that they would be locking him up so swiftly.

Cosby’s publicist told the New York Times that “no one disclosed to us that they were taking him to that facility.”  In an act to preserve some of his dignity and for the safety of the old and almost blind man, his lawyers worked to convince a judge that keeping him on house arrest instead of jail while he appeals his sentence is the best option. But that request was rejected. Though the team wants to also get him in a “Florida” jail (a slang name made popular in the current season of Orange Is The New Black for jail for seniors), there are no plans for his transfer.

Bill Cosby Will Find Out if he Goes to Prison Today

Bill Cosby will have a last chance to present his defense to the court on Tuesday under the watchful eye of a Pennsylvania judge sentences him on three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

Montgomery County prosecutors asked a judge on Monday to condemn Cosby to five to 10 years in jail for the 2004 rape of Andrea Constand, saying he had indicated “no remorse” for his activities.

“He seemingly thinks that he hasn’t done anything wrong. The jury thinks otherwise,” District Attorney Kevin Steele said. “This is about a person who put himself in a situation of being a mentor, but we know he had other intentions just from the beginning,” he added.

Be that as it may, Cosby’s defense lawyer, Joseph P. Green, requested a sentence of house capture, refering to Cosby’s propelled age and visual deficiency.

“Mr. Cosby is not dangerous,” he said. “Eighty-one-year-old blind men who are not self-sufficient are not a danger, unless perhaps to themselves.”

Judge Steven T. O’Neill will issue the sentence on Tuesday after he chooses whether Cosby ought to be ordered a “sexually violent predator.” The assurance would require Cosby to enlist with state police and submit to sex-offender counseling and notification forever.

On the off chance that he should serve time, he could be arrested instantly after the judge articulates the sentence.

Cosby was sentenced April for three counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and assaulting Constand at his home in 2004, in the first high-profile celebrity criminal trial of the #MeToo era.

In spite of the fact that the charges each convey a possible sentence of 10 years, Judge O’Neill reported that the charges had been converged into one since they all originate from a similar occasion. The state condemning rules show 22 to 36 months in jail, plus or minus 12 months because of aggravating or mitigating circumstances.

Monday’s hearing additionally highlighted victim impact statements from Constand, her folks and her sister. Constand, whose testimony at trial was fundamental to the argument against Cosby, represented only a couple of minutes in court.

“I have testified, I have given you my victim impact statement,” Constand said. “You heard me, the jury heard me and Mr. Cosby heard me. All I’m asking for is justice as the court sees fit.”

Terry Crews Posted Apology From Hollywood Agent who Sexually Assaulted Him

Actor Terry Crews posted the apology letter he received from the Hollywood agent he accused of groping his genitals at a party in 2016.

Crews noted that the letter from Adam Venit was issued in March and he only “accepted” his apology because of his decision to leave talent agency William Morris Endeavor. “It meant nothing without a resignation,” he told Deadline.

Venit didn’t explicitly explain groping Crews at the party, but he did ask for forgiveness. “I am sure that this whole situation is an unwanted experience for you,” he wrote. “I have no right to expect your forgiveness, but I am asking for it nonetheless.”

Venit has previously denied any wrongdoing.

“The intent of this letter is to start a dialogue in service of taking responsibility for the emotional challenge that this experience has caused you and your family,” Venit added in his letter. “I take responsibility for us being here now, together in this situation. I am sorry for all of it.”

Terry Crews went on Good Morning America and publicly confirmed that Venit was his assaulter, a claim which the agent denied. “He comes over to me, I stick my hand out, and he literally takes his hand and puts it and squeezes my genitals,” Crews said on the show, adding that Venit also began “licking his tongue out and all this stuff.”

Crews said he responded, “Dude, what are you doing? What are you doing?”

Los Angeles prosecutors declined to press charges because the allegation fell outside the statute of limitations.

In the months since, Crews has became one of the few men at the forefront of the #MeToo movement. The actor settled a lawsuit against Venit and William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME), with stipulations that the agency wouldn’t rehire the longtime agent and that it would implement policies to prevent harassment in the future, Vanity Fair reported.
