Nike Earned Edition Jerseys

To honor the teams who have locked in a playoff spot for the NBA 2018-2019 season Nike has curated capsuled jerseys. And they are pretty litty.

As part of the Earned Edition collection the global sportswear brand has remixed the uniforms of 16 teams which include fan favorites Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, The Utah Jazz and Philadelphia 76ers. The new looks, which are variations of each team’s Statement or City Edition uniforms, aim to supply fans with a tangible claim to both their team’s heritage and current success streak.

Select teams will debut their uniforms on-court as a part of the NBA’s annual Christmas Day lineup of games (get the schedule here). Other participating teams will begin wearing their Earned Edition uniforms in games soon after.

The Nike NBA Earned Edition uniforms will be available December 19 in limited quantities on nike.com and store.nba.com as well as at team retailers and select retail partners.

Nike collaborates with jewellery designer for AMBUSH® collection

We’re excited to announce that Nike has collaborated with Yoon Ahn, celebrated jewellery designer and one half of the brand AMBUSH®, to release the Nike x AMBUSH® capsule collection.

Between her base of Tokyo and work in Paris, Ahn finds herself operating on a bustling schedule by anyone’s standards. This pace inevitably defines what she wears and creates

Ahn believes that with the busy, fast-paced lifestyle we all lead today; how we dress in the morning is carried into the night. With this lifestyle, the last thing we want to think about is clothes that are uncomfortable or not functional.

This notion drives Ahn’s vision for the collection which includes two coats, one reversible track jacket (fleece on one side, a metallic foil ripstop on the other) and a luxurious faux fur which are complemented by a  Dry-Fit Stretch bodysuit, crop top and fleece pant.

For footwear, Ahn chose to work with the Air Max 180, a silhouette which she has a sentimental connection to as the first pair of sneakers she ever bought with her own money after seeing it in the pages of a magazine. Ahn takes the iconic shoer to a new dimension by mixing it with another Nike classic, the Air Zoom Flight The Glove.

Available at Sneakerboy only, the Nike x AMBUSH® apparel collection drops December 6. The Nike x AMBUSH Air Max 180 will be available Autumn 2019. Please visit Nike News for further information.

SUPREME BOX LOGO CREW NECKS

The world’s biggest streetwear brand is about to do the most with very little. SUPREME is set to bring their signature box logo back to life for the winter.

As spotted on High Snobiety, the New York based label is going to make good on a collection they originally teased back in August. On Thursday, December 6 they will release crew necks that will feature their always sought after box logo branding.

Per the usually accurate fan account @DropsByJay SUPREME will be coming with minimally designed sweatshirts in nine color options. Included is a peach, blue, red, mustard yellow, gray, navy, black, forest green and white.

Surprisingly these will go for $158.00 dollars a pop but those prices are not guaranteed. The box logo series is easily their most sought-after pieces, so expect this collection to go in seconds. Additionally the resale prices are nothing nice so make sure you act quickly if you want to cop.

If you are confused as to why hypebeasts fiend for the box logo (“BOGO”) you can educate yourself, if you care, below.

People can say what they want about Carmelo Anthony but you can’t deny that the man done left his mark on the game. Now the ever fashionable Melo has linked up with Famous Nobodys for a dope capsule collection dubbed “ME7O MADE.”

Inspired by the NBA star’s mantra of “Wisdom” and “Dedication,” the Famous Nobody’s capsule collection is comprised of black jackets, hoodies and sweats with the logo in gold or white printing for anyone looking to stand out.

“Carmelo is known as one of the most stylish players in the NBA – so collaborating with him on the ME7O MADE collection was an honor,” said Christian Vazquez, co-founder of Famous Nobodys. “With that said, it was that more important for us to make the collection RIGHT and to make it feel like a moment. With the launch of the new store and the line – we feel we’ve done just that.”

Melo for his part feels that “ME7O MADE is something that was fun for me to be a part of because it allows me to explore a part of fashion away from the court in clothes that are fly, comfortable and mean something to me.”

Can’t be mad at that unless you’re a hater by nature.

The collection will be sold exclusively at the Famous Nobodys store in the Boogie Down Bronx, NY, and their online store, and pieces will retail for anywhere from $47 to $277. Check out the collection after the jump and let us know if you’re going to cop.

Nike Australia announces Air Fear of God collection

Nike’s first collaborative project with Fear of God founder and creative director Jerry Lorenzo is highlighted by an court-ready basketball shoe, the Nike Air Fear of God 1. During the last few weeks, glimpses of the design — which incorporates a double-height Zoom Air heel unit — came through a preview of Lorenzo’s latest Fear of God offering and then appeared on the feet of NBA stars.

The rollout is tactical, all part of Lorenzo’s desire to focus on the emotional element of sport.

Tapping into a certain element of nostalgia and basketball’s most visceral aspects, Lorenzo wants to remind wearers of the power sport once had in defining style. Lorenzo recalls that growing up in the ‘80s and ‘90s, it was the pro athletes like Agassi and Jordan who influenced the way they wore street clothes.

Working with Leo Chang on the Air Fear of God footwear allowed Lorenzo to balance his aesthetic vision and performance aspiration. This collection reflects Nike’s belief in the power of innovation through collaboration.

Process is something Lorenzo says came from his athletic background in baseball and basketball. In sport, he found a foundation for how to go about life. The competitiveness that drove relative success on the field has been translated to his work as a designer.

The Nike Air Fear of God collection releases globally on December 15. Find out more here. Jerry Lorenzo’s portrait credit: © Samuel Trotter / NIKE.
