According to reports, Marshall Mathers’ latest solo effort sold nearly 500,000 copies in week 1.

Eminem earns his ninth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as his surprise release Kamikaze debuts at No. 1. The set, which was released without warning on Aug. 31 via Shady/Aftermath/Interscope Records, earned 434,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Sept. 6, according to Nielsen Music. This month, Budden publicly shared his issues with Em and notably a lack of providing musical content over the past 10 years.

“News flash Em. I heard the album and because I think you don’t really remember all the members that were in the group, I don’t think you really know our history. Let me tell you what Joe Budden has thought this entire time. I’ve been better than you this entire f**king decade. Huh? Can’t say that back then. Can’t say that back then. But in my rapper brain, I’m a content n*gga. You’ve gotta say something. You have not said anything for the better part of a whole f*cking decade. You have rhymed a bunch of words.”

A few days ago, Kelly talked about his now-epic rap feud with Eminem.

“The narrative is becoming a little unfair right now. I’m in a boxing ring with one person. I came as one person. I never asked Puff to retweet a thing. I never asked any of my celebrity friends to get on my side. I never asked them to comment under my pictures – I never asked for none of that. I stepped in a boxing ring by myself in which I was evoked to do and I just stepped up. And here is this audience throwing banana peels while I’m fighting – you fake edited boos into a performance of me performing ‘Rap Devil.’ Not only did I not get booed but every time for the last two weeks, Michigan included, I step out in the crowd after that song plays and walk through the entire arena. There is a video of this every single day and I have one person with me walking through. I give 10,000 people a chance everyday to do what they want to do, say what they wanna say, it’s me and one dude. I’ve done this for two weeks. You can’t edit the narrative to be what it’s not. I’ve seen fake edited ghostwriting credits. What are we doing? Your boy got – his knees are weak. You gotta stop it. I even see today, [‘Killshot’] is the most popular video on YouTube. Everyone wants to tune in. The legend just got punched in the mouth.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

This week, G-Unit boss 50 Cent applauded Em’s “Killshot” making history on video streaming giant YouTube.

According to reports, Em’s “Killshot” YouTube video had the largest debut of any hip-hop song in YouTube history.

The official audio of “Killshot” earned a record 38.1 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours of its release on Friday. It now has over 72 million views on the site. YouTube said “Killshot” also had the third-highest debut of any song in the site’s history, and the track is on top of the site’s US trending chart. (Business Insider)
