Cardi B Plans to Address Controversy Through Her Music

Cardi B won’t be silenced.

In response to the controversy over a 2016 Instagram Live session, where she said she drugged and robbed men, the “Money” rapper is putting her haters in their place. Taking to Instagram Live once again on Saturday, Cardi delivered an expletive-laced PSA.

“I was gonna address some shit up in this bitch, but you know what, I feel like, ‘Nah, f**k this sh*t. These ni**as can suck my dick,” said Cardi.

She ultimately decided to hold off on going in and instead plans to express herself through her music. “I ain’t doin’ s**t. F**k all these motherf**kers. I’m just gon’ address s**t in my f**ckin’ music,” she continued.

“I was gonna pop my shit and I was gonna say some real motherfu**ing shit, but I was like, f**k these ni**as. ‘Cause what they gonna do is they gonna fu**ing get my live, break it, and edit it, and fu**ing flip every word that I fu**ing say. Same way y’all fu**ing flipped some shit and put your own narrative on a fu**ing live that I did three years ago. I see people put they own fu**ing spin to that shit. Fu**in’ made they own story out of fu**ing five words that I said. I was like, ‘You know what. F**k it. I’m just gonna do music and I’m just gonna come harder.’”

Earlier this month, an old Instagram Live session resurfaced where Cardi says that she used to drug and rob clients who tried to pay her for sex when she worked as a stripper.

“I had to go strip, I had to go, ‘Oh yeah, you want to f**k me? Yeah, yeah, yeah, let’s go to this hotel,’ and I drugged ni**as up, and I robbed them. That’s what I used to do,” she said in the resurfaced clip. “Nothin’ was muthafu**in’ handed to me, my ni**a. Nothing!”

After her comments went viral, Bardi faced backlash from social media. “I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options,” she later explained. “The men I spoke about in my live were men that I dated that I was involve with men that were conscious willing and aware. I have a past that I can’t change we all do.”

Despite the movement to take her down, Cardi said she can’t be stopped. “Y’all think you’re gonna f**king get me out of here. Deals are coming through. Everything is great and I’m blessed the f**k up. Suck my dick.”
