Azealia Banks Begs Ice Cube to Intervene in Battle Over Music Royalties

Anytime Azealia Banks opens her mouth it’s controversy, but she’s just misunderstood. The Harlem rapper recently revealed her alleged affair with Dave Chappelle and expressed that Black men in the music industry don’t support her.

“It’s a lot of tea that I be wanting to spill on y’all Black nggas, especially when y’all be seeing me getting attacked in the media and sht, and y’all don’t come to my rescue and sht like that…y’all nggas don’t look out for me, so what the fck I’m keeping secrets for y’all nggas for?”

Azealia is back but this time she’s calling Ice Cube for help to get music royalties from an album that she never saw. She claims music executive and Cube’s longtime CubeVision business partner, Jeff Kwatinetz, stole her bread and dropped her like a bad habit because she was too vocal about police brutality.

““@icecube Can you please ask Jeff Kwatinetz to release my royalties? It’s been six years and he stole ALL OF MY MONEY on an album interscope/polydore paid to produce. This white man robbed me and dropped me in the middle of shooting a movie because he felt I was being too vocal about police brutality.””

Azealia Banks tried to tug at the veteran rapper turned actor’s heart by pointing out the hurdles he faced during the infancy of his music career. “…you’re whole career started off of a song called “F*ck the police” And he has stood by your black male side from day one. Ice Cube, if you have any ounce of care for how hard it is to be a black woman alone in this industry PLEASE BEG JEFF KWATINETZ TO RELEASE MY ROYALTIES.”

She continued, “@icecube I am begging. I truly need my royalties to survive…I’m writing this letter with tears streaming down my face…I know you are the closet person to him. Please help me get my royalties Ice Cube.”

Do you think Azealia Banks’ cry for help will make Ice Cube budge?
