2Pac’s Estate Celebrates the 20th Anniversary of His ‘Greatest Hits’ Album

Tupac Shakur is one of the most influential artists of all-time. Even in death, his legend still looms larger and cast a shadow over the music scene. His legacy is permanently embedded in the culture.

It’s been 20 years since the release of his posthumous album, Greatest Hits. To commemorate this anniversary, the estate of Tupac Shakur will release a limited-edition collection vinyl re-issue, graphic hoodies, T-shirts, a strap-back hat, and other merchandise. On social media, the estate released a teaser of what was to come.

Greatest Hits by 2Pac dropped on November 24, 1998, and showcased his brief but highly productive recording career.

The album features some of the most well-known tracks from 2Pac’s career. 21 of his most popular tracks such as “Brenda’s Got a Baby,” “Trapped,” “Keep Ya Head Up,” “Dear Mama,” and many more. The album went on to sale in access of 5 million copies.

There is speculation that because of the estate’s recent victory in court that more of Tupac’s music will be released.

Tupac fans all over the world will be anticipating the new music and merch that will be released in honor of the fallen icon.
